Design for Manufacture (DFM)

A CAD model that looks right on screen doesn’t always translate cleanly to the factory floor. Before anything goes to a manufacturer, we review every part for the things that commonly cause problems or blow out costs.

That includes:

Draft angles for clean ejection in moulding processes
Wall thickness to balance strength, weight, and cooling
Shrinkage allowances based on material properties
Process selection to keep costs and cycle times in check

Catching these things before tooling starts is a lot cheaper than fixing them after.
